They need better agronomic care and
more attention than normal gardens as usually plants are forced
to live in little deep substratum and with poor recycling
of mineral salts which means that they are subject to drying
up and to the nutritive elements exhaustion. This is the reason
why they have to be more watered during the period of greatest
water imbalance, to be more weeded to ventilate the soil,
to receive more manure. During the weed time (autumn/winter)
it is suitable to give the ground organic nourishment (soil,
peat, green compost) to enrich the substratum and to increase
its fertility.
