Isothermal and protection process
Végétalis® walls, provided with
watering system, protect the outside surface of buildings
from the sunbeams so that the mains walls are cooled by
7°C to 10°C improving the thermal insulating capacity
and consequently reducing the power consumption remarkably,
both in summer and winter time.
Acoustic protection
Végétalis® process doesn’t
reverberate sound waves and, thanks to its density and its
structure, has great soundproofing and sound absorbent features.
The Végétalis® wall (mass), the ventilated
air space (spring) and the brick wall (mass) follow the
acoustic law mass/spring/mass: in this way the life quality
is improved giving a comfort sensation both by its ornamental
appearance and its noise-reducing capacity.
Small dust treatment and CO2 absorption
Because it is a vegetal and, most of the times, an evergreen
material it can keep the small dusts present in the atmosphere
and provides an important CO2 absorption thanks to the photosynthesis
of the chlorophyll.
Respect for nature
Thanks to the modular Greenbox® system, the reversion
principle is observed as a vegetated wall can be easily
?u disassembled and its components used for the compost
(substructure and plants) and/or recycled (steel) at the
end of the product’s life cycle.
Therapeutic value
It is common knowledge and scientifically proved the therapeutic
value of living in contact with nature and especially with
vegetable and aromatic plants. Plants’ exudates have
in fact a positive effect both on the psyche and on the
allergic diseases.
Water efficiency
The Vegetalis® walls are consisting of a substructure
which has a great capacity of water retention.
Said substructure is vegetal, than organic, and can retain
up to 20 times its weight in water, this enables the plants
to stand high temperatures, dry weather, hot winds and possible
hold up on the watering system within the limit of 48/72
hours according to the species of the plants.
The built-in watering system is formed by pipes provided
with micro-dripping anti-filling up devices generally used
in agriculture allowing a considerable water saving. This
system allows to carry out the water supply also in case
of weak delivery capacity and assures an excellent substructure
hydration.
A solution called “fertilizing watering” which
consists, most of all, of water that can be enriched by
trace elements or by phyto-sanitary products, filter?us
through the substructure. Said solution is recovered at
the base of the wall, carried to a back-water tank and than
supplied again to the walls. This involves remarkable water
saving. The recycling allows also the constant analysis
of its composition by means of feelers as well as the metering
of the phyto-sanitary products.
To know the consumptions of the plants put us in the condition
to anticipate the demands and to forestall possible diseases
A remote controlled system as well as an alarm system controlled
by a “modem” enable to be immediately informed
in case of wrong operation of the watering system (stoppage
of the water/power supply, break-down and so on…)
Plants for Vegetalis® walls are selected according
to the climatic conditions as well as to their exposure.
